You can select the classic “heavy” profile, which is similar to the profile found on earlier HK® 416 models, ensuring barrel rigidity with minimal flex, or you can pick the new “medium” profile, which saves weight and makes the rifle quite handy. Barrels are button rifled from 4150 chrome moly steel with a 1-7 twist and have commonly used ½-28 muzzle threads for the attachment of the muzzle device of your choice.
