The FB02 Bill Moran featherweight fixed blade model is modest and unpretentious in its ability and aptitude. The FB02 has a drop-point blade and is made of VG-10 stainless done in a scalpel-like flat grind. Featherweights make a pheFALSEmenal camp utility knife and/or hunting companion.

The handles are FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon resin: a nylon polymer mixed with glass fiber which can be injection molded into a handle) with rubbery Krayton insets. This is a decided bonus in the field when hands are frequently soaked, num or gloved. It is snuggly encased in a Concealex sheath equipped with a 6 position TekLock fastening system. Riding comfortable on clothing, a belt or pack the TekLock positions the knife in six separate carry positions: Vertically, horizontally, inverted, cross-draw, open, or in the small of your back.
